George and Holly
A short time before my late Great Aunt died, she bought a little jack russell puppy, a decision the family really didn’t think was wise. She was elderly, and very ill. But George meant the world to her. It brings tears to my eyes thinking about it.

He was always hyper-active, right from day one. She had trouble training him, she couldn’t walk him as she was too ill, and it meant that he ran wild. After she died, the rest of the family refused to take him on board, he wasn’t hugely wanted. Finally though, I agreed to bring him home with me, and ever since then, i’ve been doing my best to prove the rest of the family wrong ;) .

I’ve been working with him ever since.  Rich has helped hugely, his family have just been amazing with the training, and the picture above shows how far we’ve come. He’s never been next to a dog before; he went nuts any time he was even near one (due to never experiencing that kind of thing before). We’d been working with him and holly for several days, trying to get him used to her, finally, they stopped barking and he was calm. That moment meant a lot.
